MOBILTEX ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW CFO, STEVE WINKELMANN

Calgary, Alberta, Canada – MOBILTEX [an XPV Water Partners company], a leading provider of innovative IIoT hardware and software solutions for cathodic protection remote monitoring within a broad range of industrial and municipal markets, today announced the appointment of Steve Winkelmann as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Steve is an operationally focused CFO with a diverse background, bringing over 20 years of corporate finance experience to MOBILTEX. With expertise in financial planning, global financial operations for both public (TSX, Nasdaq) and private entity, and corporate finance with a proficiency in structuring and negotiating transactions, Steve is a financial leader with a proven track record of delivering profitable growth for a wide range of businesses.

Previous to joining MOBILTEX Steve was EVP, Chief Financial Officer of SMART Technologies headquartered in Calgary, AB. With a focus on building successful teams, Steve oversaw SMART’s accounting, financial planning, tax, treasury and IT functions. Before joining SMART, his career spanned over 15 years of financial management experience in both private and public organizations, and has held positions at various financial institutions with specializations in numerous industries. Steve holds a BComm from the University of Calgary and a CPA, CMA designation.
