MOBILTEX ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC ACQUISITION OF WATERING SOFTWARE TO EXPAND FLOPATH BUSINESS GROUP

TWO DATA LOGGERS IN ONE! CAPTURE PRESSURE AVERAGE AND SURGE DATA IN SEPARATE FILES — WATERPROOF AND SUBMERSIBLE WITH LONG-LIFE BATTERY POWER AND UNIQUE FEATURES THAT FIELD TECHNICIANS DEMAND.

The PFM1-T data logger uses a new data logging architecture that allows the user to monitor pressure input in terms of average values based on typical logging rates plus minimum/ maximum values based on fast sampling rates down to 10 samples/second. PFM1-T transient logger can also detect and log pressure surge data up to 1000 readings per second without interfering with the main recordings.

During threshold logging, the logger checks the pressure signal against the threshold settings 10 times per second and once triggered starts logging data at one of the configured log rate of 10Hz, 20Hz, 100Hz or 1KHz.

Pressure surges are logged and surge data plus the slow logged data is sent via cellular communication for the cellular enabled PRM1-T model or downloaded manually using the USB to IrDA communications cable for the non-cellular enabled model.

If external power is connected the logger can sample pressure at 1KHz continuously, detect and record data at 10Hz, 20Hz, 100Hz or 1KHz before during and after the surge event.

FEATURESBENEFITS
Customizable pressure & flow data loggerWith a variety of pressure & flow port configurations, the PFM1 can independently log pressure or flow data or set to log both parameters at the same time.
Industry-leading high-speed transient event/pressure surge detectionThe PFM1 is the highest-resolution pressure surge logger on the market, capable of taking up to 1,000 readings per second during a transient event.
Easily expand monitoring beyond SCADA constraintsProven cloud-connected IIoT solution with simple deployment that empowers teams with an advanced web-based interface with real-time monitoring and alerts, fleet reporting, and analytics for proactive visibility into actionable water hammer pressure and flow events to deploy preventative and prescriptive maintenance.
Adjustable data logging & sampling rate for enhanced data resolutionAdjustable pressure & flow data sampling rates to fit every job. Sampling rate: 1 second to 15 minutes; Standard Logging rate: 5 seconds [portable]/1 minute [cellular] to 24 hours
Comprehensive data-type loggingGives users the choice to simultaneously or independently log a wide selection of data types, including maximum, minimum and average pressure.
Digital data transfer via cellular communicationOperating on a variety of cellular bands (2G, 4G/5G LTE CAT M1 or ), the PFM1 can transmit data from virtually any location with cell coverage. This helps improve the quality & frequency of data collection while also reducing the need for field staff to undertake time consuming, potentially dangerous field trips.
Communication Versatility The PFM1 is available as either a non-communicating, portable unit or a fully telemetric cellular comms unit. Additionally, portable units can be field-upgraded to cellular on the fly.
Built-in digital displayCycles through logger parameters to provide at-a-glance information to users without the need to connect to a computer
Engineered for the fieldMeticulously designed to withstand the harshest environments (-20 to 70 degrees C, -5 to 160 degrees F)
IP68 waterproof ratingThe PFM1 will continue to operate even when completely submerged in water, frozen solid, or when exposed to dusty/dirty/sandy environments
Long runtimes /  battery lifeField-replaceable batteries with 5+ year runtimes under normal operating conditions
Internal memory bankThe addition of 8 separate data files ensures that any data transmitted from the field is further backed up on the internal PFM1 memory

Flow-tronic TORPEE-MAG + PFM1 / FloPath.Cloud

Full Profile Electromagnetic Averaging Insertion Flowmeter with Multiple Electrodes

The TORPEE-MAG is a hot tap full profile electromagnetic insertion flowmeter. Multiple electrodes placed across the entire sensor body at equal area, measure and report the average flow rate over the full diameter of the pipe. The specific design of the multi-electrode sensor compensates for variable flow profiles, including swirl and turbulent conditions and allows installation without calibration on site.

The TORPEE-MAG can be installed without shutting down, emptying or cutting the pipe (hot tap installation). It does not require welding flanges and installation can be done in pressurized pipelines up to 17 bar.

Cost of installation is largely reduced by eliminating the need for heavy equipment (cranes, etc.) or extensive manpower. The TORPEE-MAG is the most economical flow metering solution for medium and large pipe sensor sizes, reducing drastically installation costs.

The TORPEE-MAG fits in confined spaces, can be submerged and offers complete accessibility. It can be removed in pipes under pressure for easy inspection, cleaning, calibrating or verification. It is particularly cost-effective for retrofit application.

The TORPEE-MAG comes in 2 different sizes in order to be used with 1,5 inch or 2 inch ball valves. The 1,5 inch TORPEE-MAG is available for pipe sizes ranging from DN100 up to DN1500. The 2 inch TORPEE-Mag is available for pipe sizes ranging from DN1000 up to DN2500. For larger pipe sizes, please contact FLOW-TRONIC.
