Mobiltex entered the remote cathodic
monitoring market in 1991 with the SMC2 interrupter
remote telemetry unit. Since then, Mobiltex has designed
three further product generations of remote monitoring
equipment. The corTalk® product line consists of a complete
offering of field proven cathodic devices, including
monitoring and control units, interrupters, and accessories.
corView – a web interface for monitoring cathodic protection systems that use RMU2 units, and for accessing the measurement data they gather.
corTalk Host – a software application for monitoring and controlling cathodic protection systems that use SMC4 and RMU5 units, and for accessing the measurement data they gather.
RMU2-G GSM Remote Monitoring Unit – a fixed-function remote monitoring unit with a GSM/GPRS cellular transmitter module that provides cost effective monitoring of rectifiers, test points, and bonds.
RMU2-S Satellite Remote Monitoring Unit – a fixed-function remote monitoring unit with a satellite transmitter module that provides cost effective monitoring of rectifiers, test points, and bonds.
RMU5 Remote Monitoring Unit – a remote monitoring unit that also provides GPS synchronized interruption, with a wide array of communication configurations and significant expansion capabilities.
SMC4 Remote Telemetry Unit – a remote telemetry unit that provides GPS synchronized interruption, with resources required for advanced status and control applications.
SPI1-P Portable GPS Interrupter and Data Logger – portable GPS synchronized interruption units with optional data logging functions.
SPI1-S Stationary GPS Interrupter and Data Logger – stationary GPS synchronized interruption units with optional data logging functions.
